Dr. Wildermuth received his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Cal Poly Pomona in 1997 and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California, Davis in 2001. He completed his dermatology residency at the Animal Dermatology Clinic, San Diego in 2005. He stayed with the Animal Dermatology Clinic as a partner until 2011, with duties including the mentoring of dermatology residents and the training of veterinary students from the Western University of Health Sciences in clinical dermatology. In 2011, he moved to Wiesbaden, Germany and founded a private dermatology practice with his wife Dr. Kerstin Wildermuth. Dr. Brett Wildermuth has been a member of the ACVD since 2007 and the ECVD since 2012. He has lectured and published internationally, and is a Member-at-Large in the World Association for Veterinary Dermatology.
