Professional Experience

09/2015 - 02/2019 Resident in Veterinary Anaesthesia

Providing anaesthesia and pain managements to the busy university hospital full of patients of all sizes and age groups. Supporting intensive care unit in over hours post-operative care.  Taking part in student education and hospital CE. Performing own research as well as taking part in other collogues clinical trials. 

09/2013 - 06/2015 Small Animal Anaesthesia Rotating Intern

Rotating internship in one of the busiest university hospitals in the United States. Exposure to newest techniques and chance to work in a highly-teaching oriented environment.  Overnight duties in Level I trauma and emergency room as well as fully staffed overnight intensive care unit. Intern anaesthetist also for distinguished interventional radiology procedures as well as feline renal transplantations and regular participation in night shifts.

03/2013 - 09/2013 Small Animal Anaesthesist

Providing anaesthesia to the biggest animals’ centers in Austria as well as serving duties in postoperative intensive care unit. 

10/2011 - 03/2013 Laboratory Animal Anaesthesist

Providing anaesthesia services for complicated cardiovascular animal trials. Supporting medical doctors in choosing anaesthetic regimes and pain management for their trials.
