Feline Medicine 8:
Intensive Care and Anaesthesiology
16-20 January 2026 | Bangkok, Thailand
General Overview
General Overview
This intensive five-day course is designed for veterinarians who wish to deepen their expertise in emergency care and anaesthesiology for feline patients. The course focuses on the most critical and challenging scenarios in feline medicine, providing both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical training.
Participants will explore a wide range of emergency topics including triage, CPR, fluid therapy, intoxications, trauma management, and emergencies involving various organ systems (neurological, endocrine, gastrointestinal, urological). Special emphasis is placed on diagnostic tools such as POCUS (point-of-care ultrasound) and emergency laboratory work.
The anaesthesiology module covers pre-anesthetic preparation, drug protocols, monitoring, complication management, pain control, local techniques, and dental and respiratory procedures. Real-world scenarios, case-based discussions, and practical labs will equip participants with the skills needed for effective emergency response and safe, tailored anaesthesia in feline patients.
This course offers an essential blend of clinical insight, practical training, and evidence-based protocols, making it ideal for practitioners working in emergency and critical care or those seeking to improve their anaesthetic management in cats.
