In 2005, Dr Laura Zamperone obtained her degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Milan, Italy.
Since then, she has worked at several major veterinary hospitals across Italy, including Ospedale Veterinario Gregorio VII in Rome, Clinica Veterinaria Malpensa in Samarate (VA), Clinica Veterinaria Gran Sasso in Milan, and Istituto Veterinario di Novara, where she currently serves as the head of the intensive care unit.
In 2018, she earned a Master of Science in Nephrology for Dogs and Cats from the University of Pisa.
Dr Zamperone has also become the president of the Italian Society of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care.
She received her RECOVER certificate as a BLS-ALS rescuer in 2022 and the RECOVER INSTRUCTOR certificate in 2025.
Furthermore, she is a co-author of the “Guide to the Interpretation of Blood Gas Analysis in Veterinary Medicine” published by Edra.
In 2024, she obtained the Hemodialysis Academy Certificate.
